Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect your email address to authenticate you, and the LinkedIn post content you choose to save. We don't sell your data. We use it only to run SavedIn.
1. Who We Are
SavedIn is a service that lets you save, organize, and search your LinkedIn posts. It is operated by Polsia, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). The service is available at https://savedin.polsia.app.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — used to authenticate you via magic link login. We do not collect a password.
- LinkedIn post content — the text, author name, author URL, and post URL of posts you explicitly save using the SavedIn Chrome extension or web interface.
- Labels and metadata — any labels or tags you create to organize your saved posts.
We do not collect your LinkedIn credentials, your LinkedIn account, your connection list, or any other information from LinkedIn beyond the specific posts you save.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide SavedIn's core functionality:
- Authenticating your account via magic link login
- Storing and organizing the LinkedIn posts you save
- Enabling full-text search across your saved posts
- Generating AI-powered topic labels (Premium feature)
- Displaying your saved posts back to you in the dashboard
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running SavedIn for you.
4. Authentication
SavedIn uses passwordless magic link authentication. When you log in, we send a one-time login link to your email address. We do not store passwords. Session tokens are stored locally in your browser.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on SavedIn's servers (hosted at savedin.polsia.app) using PostgreSQL with encrypted connections. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@polsia.app.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We may share data only in these limited cases:
- Service providers — infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) who process data on our behalf and are bound by data protection agreements.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or valid legal process.
7. Chrome Extension Permissions
The SavedIn Chrome extension requires the following permissions:
- Access to linkedin.com — the extension reads LinkedIn post content (text, author, URL) only when you click the Save button. It does not monitor your browsing activity or read other pages.
- Communication with savedin.polsia.app — the extension sends saved post content to our servers using your API key for authentication.
- Storage — the extension stores your API key locally in Chrome to authenticate requests. The key never leaves your browser except when making API calls to savedin.polsia.app.
The extension does not read your LinkedIn messages, connections, profile information, or any data beyond the specific posts you choose to save.
8. AI Auto-Tagging
Premium users can enable AI auto-tagging. When enabled, saved post text is sent to an AI API (Anthropic Claude) to generate topic labels. This text is used only to generate tags and is not stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of the API call, per their data processing agreements.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Export your saved posts at any time
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Correct inaccurate data

10. Cookies
SavedIn does not use tracking cookies. Session state is managed via tokens stored in your browser's local storage.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SavedIn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
